Look good for less – How to save money on beard grooming products

Wednesday, September 5th, 2018

If you’re looking to save money on your beard grooming then here are a couple of ideas for you that might be able to help.

Invest in a beard grooming kit

Okay so $200 might seem a bit excessive for a single purchase but trust me it’s worth it in the long run. When you buy a whole kit you’re able to save by doing the equivalent of buying in bulk. Do the math on your favorite beard care products if you buy them individually and then I’m pretty sure you’ll find that buying a whole kit might save you anywhere from $20 to $50. Now of course those are estimates and it’s going to depend on what brand you’re looking to buy but on average those numbers should hold strong. Now there’s also the added bonus of the products in the kit working in conjunction with each other which means you’ll never have to worry if one product might negate the effects of another. There’s usually instructions/suggestions on how to use the products which is nice if you’re just getting started or might just show you a more effective method that you simply didn’t know about before. And the last added benefit in buying a whole kit you’re most probably going to have a nice uniform smell from your products which is great because contrasting products might produce odors a bit too strong or simply not to your liking. Just pick a brand you or someone you trust trusts and you’re golden. The Percy Nobleman brand is one that we can recommend and if you’re not sure about sinking your cash into the whole beard kit just try this beard oil for starters.

Shop Online

Not really the easiest to grasp when shopping but you’ll be able to compare and contrast prices from different brands a heck of a lot easier and you also won’t be limited to your local distributors. Shopping online also has the added benefit of customer reviews which will help you figure out what products are worth your time and money. Now always read through reviews because this is the internet and you’d be surprised how many people love a product but give it a 4 or 3 star rating for seemingly no reason. There’s also the added benefit of most online stores having discount coupons and flash sales which if you’ve never shopped online are immensely helpful on saving some cash. Personally I don’t understand how flash sales work to make the company, or the store whichever, money but if I get my favorite beard oil for 50% off you will not hear me complaining.

Using The Right Product Is Safest Thing To Do

Saturday, June 30th, 2018

Sometimes being thrifty can cause you to spend more in the long run. If you really want to save money, then you have to spend it wisely, and spending money wisely doesn’t mean always going for the cheapest products.

When you have a frugal mindset, you have to make sure that when you buy something, the purchase is actually helping you save money. There are many cases where people tend to buy cheap items instead of the more expensive option without realizing that the cheap one is ineffective while the expensive item is incredibly effective. So, do you think buying a cheap but ineffective item is cost-effective? Of course not! It’s almost always just a waste of money!

I am not saying that all products that have cheap prices are bad quality and not worth buying. All I am saying is that, you have to be wise when choosing a particular product for purchase. You should more often than not base your decision on the product’s quality and not the price.

Let’s say for example, when buying a cosmetic product for your beard. You purchase a hair shampoo instead so you can use it on both your hair and beard. Many people would think this were a good idea, but frankly I don’t.

I did research a bit about this to support my reasoning for thinking this. There was one article in particular that grabbed my attention. The author emphasized that we should never use regular shampoo for our beard. He stated that your hair on your head and the hair on your face are completely different. Regular shampoo often contains chemicals that are good for the scalp only but not on the skin on your face. Furthermore these chemicals might end up harming your skin leading you to spending even more money on treatment for it. That definitely isn’t frugal!

For me it is much safer to use the correct product which has the correct purpose. It will help you achieve the best result and I believe will help you save money too, in the long run at least. If you are looking for a shampoo or wash for your beard, I highly recommend you find one online or in your local shopping centre, rather than picking out a generic hair shampoo.

Active income vs. Passive income – Which one do you currently have

Friday, June 22nd, 2018

Are you suffering from a tight budget? Wanting to buy something but it is well out of your price range? Well, you are not experiencing this alone. The majority of us are living with a low budget and this is just one of the many sad realities that we face in the modern world. People have unlimited needs and wants but have limited income. Sounds so unfair, right?

There are actually two types of income – Active income and passive income. Active income is what you earn by working hard in a company or through the services you offer. People who rely solely on this income have no financial freedom – if they don’t work, they won’t earn money.

Passive income, on the other hand, is for the people that take risks and work hard to have their own business or those who have invested in a company wherein they don’t need to work just to earn money – other people with special skills will work for them. This kind of income is hard to achieve and would need a lot of hard work at first, but it will give you financial freedom later on.

Those who have a passive income are usually don’t have any problems when it comes to buying what they want. Unlike those who have active incomes only, they tend to give up their wants just to buy their needs. It is particularly a challenge for women with an active income only, as they normally have many needs and wants in their life, one of them being cosmetics.

I know it is not easy to earn money so it should always be spent wisely. The world of cosmetics is greatly affected by this fact, in particular, makeup for women. More and more women are slowly realizing that you don’t need to give up makeup, you just need to practice some smart shopping techniques and use the right product in order to get your desired look. In other words, it doesn’t need to break the bank! One simple way to save you from spending too much is to use a better primer for your make up. It essentially helps keep the makeup on your face stay put, eliminating constant retouching throughout the day. This alone goes along way in terms of saving you money on your makeup.
